What is Modric capable of?

Despite what seems like endless crap performances and results in recent weeks, there is plenty for Spurs fans to be happy about. I've just been doing a little internet research on our new £15.8 million acquisition and came across these goals from Luka Modric...

Hopefully he'll be a good buy.. At least we aint delaying in stregthening our squad and hopefully when the season is finished we will offload a few aswell..
Possible team for next year so far:

???? New Keeper??? Kameni maybe
Hutton... Looks really good and will get better..
Woodgate.. Lets see if he can stay fit...
Ledley... Captain
Bale.. Looks like a superstar too me..

Lennon.. Needs to improve.. He has time..
Jenas.. Im one of the few that rate him highly..
Huddlestone.. Future England Midfielder..
Modric.. Lets wait and see..

Berbatov.. Please dont go..
Keane.. Keep it up..

I think this looks like a strong 1st eleven and hopefully with a few more signings we can compete in all competions.. (except the league where i expect ramos and poyet to lead us to at least the top 5)

We love you Tottenham, we do.

Realistically, that team needs alot of improvement in order to be able to compete in all competitions...

We def need to get a quality center back that can consistently partner woodgate, king will never be able to play for an extended time.

Lennon needs to improve his end product over the summer or be replaced... shame he hasn't built on early success.

Berbs... who knows whats happenng there!?

I would personally like to see Modric driving forward from the midfield not the wing..

I think we'll need alot more quality on both wings and quality, consistent back 4... still got plenty of time tho

I think it's mad to assume there's even a chance Berba will still be around at the start of next season. As much as I don't want to believe it we have to face up to the reality that he's off...

The way the press is shaping up our 1st eleven will be;

GK Kameni
LB Bale
CB Woodgate
CB Nobody (King Ledley can't be a regular!)
RB Hutton
LW Capel
DM Huddlestone
AM Modric
RW McGeady
ST David Villa
ST Keane

Vast majority will be complete rubbish but doesn't leave much space for Lennon, Jenas, Malbranque, Chimbonda etc though.

i wonder how much we'll get for berba...

theres some good goals here, but none of them against premiership opposition! i hope that luka will turn out to be a great signing, but until he's playing in the premiership we wont know how good he looks.

at any rate, i thought we (and keegan) were after him for his silky passing, not sheer goalscoring. i agree from what little ive seen he'd be better in the middle, and just handy cover for the left wing when needed.
