Spurs fixture list: Friendly, league and cup matches

The day all football fans love has arrived. Yes, earlier this morning the Premier League announced the league fixtures for the 2008-09 season. I have reproduced the full fixture list here and I've also included friendlies and potential cup dates to ensure the fixture list is as comprehensive as possible. Click here to see the full list and feel free to bookmark the page for future reference.

Anyway, we start the campaign away at Middlesbrough (well done Planet Spurs for announcing that on Friday), and then follow-up at home against Sunderland (23rd August) and then away to Chelski (30th August).

In terms of the other big games, we play Ar5ena1 away on 28th October and at home on 7th February. The return game against Chelski is on 21st March, and the two matches against West Ham are scheduled for 6th December (away) and 11th April (home).

So what do people think? A tough start as we're away from home (again) and we haven't exactly had a great track record on our travels in recent seasons. Although we then follow-up with an "easier" game at home to Sunderland, we then face a tought trip to Big Phil's Chelski.

It's not just a tough start. We finish with a tough trip to Liverpool, and that's after other away games against Everton and Man U in the last few weeks of the season.

Tough fixture. Why must Spurs always start & finish away. Finishing away to Liverpool is also repetitive as last season. A***Nal have a more favourable draw as they play start and finish at home again!

apart from Chelsea i dont think we have any worries at the start... we are playing some relegation fodder and some average mid table teams... oct 28th then the fun start - xmas will be tough but by then we should ahve built a good base! End of the season play off with liverpool for CL place - i can dream... cant i!
