Bent to Sunderland... done (in Bent's own words)

Well all done, bar the medical.

No posts for months and then two in a few hours... it's like London buses here.

Darren Bent has just posted on Twitter (or should that be "has just tweeted") that:

"Just seen crouchy at the training ground wish him all the best. As for me Medical at sunderland tomorrow. Can't wait to get started"
I also wish Bent all the best. Spurs never really worked out for him so it's no surprise that he's moving on. Shame though as I do think he's the sort of player that will bang in 20+ goals season after season as long as he starts regularly.

Yes, its a good signing for us. The price should be £12m, - anything upwards of that may be an overvalue.
I think he'll match up well with Jonesy as long as we can get good service to him. He should do better for us than Cisse. Cisse would have been better than Bent if his workrate was better I think? We'll see. But as a Sunderland fan I'm looking forward to next season.

Good luck Darren it didnt work out because of Us not your fault because we should never have signed you in the first place. Sunderland will play for you and you will score bundles again but spurs players need to have movement which you never had in your locker all the best its a shame you cant take Keano with you bro ciao bello

Good luck Benty. Show 'em what you can do when you get some support.

As reported in the news today, it seems that Spurs are holding out for more money... which isn't going down well with Bent. Yesterday he told Levy to "f**king sort it out" on his Twitter account.
